When all we know is falling...

The chilly side of autumn has finally befallen us southern-hemisphere-siders, but forget the crisp, dry leaves that fall to the earth in an almost hypnotic manner, the fresh smell of moist earth and the 'crunch' of each step on a leaf- strewn lawn. The scene here could quite simply be put as gloomy.

Any who, one of my really good freinds, whom I was really close with last year although not so much this year, has been expelled from school. Knowing her permanent record, I'm not really surprised, but I'll really, really miss her. She was completely different from anyone I ever known, and I've got to admit I actually really admired her. Not for her, "I don't give a shit" attitude she had towards school, but her confidence. She always believes that she can acheive whatever she wants and doesn't give a damn about what people think about her.

Deep inside, I remember hoping that quality of hers would rub off a little on me. You know, I think that's the main factor contributing factor for when it comes to choosing our friends- admirable aspects.

Ugh, my lack of confidence at the moment isn't really helping with my preparation for the entrance test to that school-I-really-want-to-get-into, which isn't very far away from now. Lately I've really been slacking on my studies, I don't why, but my mind can't concentrate and just wanders off to who-knows-where. Speaking of studies, I've really gottta get back to my English homework now. I'll leave with some funny HP pics :)
