Boo! Hahahaha sorry just had to do that. Any who, news first! My New Year's Eve night was brilliant. My friends and I danced til' we had blisters on our feet (too much information?). Now since I'm not much of a dancer, I usually stand around awkwardly when they go crazy on the dancefloor, but as I've decided that this year I'm going to loosen up more, I let myself go and went crazy with them. And gosh did it feel good.
The rest of my holidays shall mostly just be about relaxing until school starts again. God, and I haven't even bought any of my books, stationary or uniform! Gah, must add 'be more organised' to list of resolutions for the year. After I pull myself together of course. I watched Titanic this morning, so I've been bawling my eyes out. Literally. I've watched bits and pieces of it on TV before, but this time I saw the whole, entire movie for the first time, after shocked rants from my friends such as, "AS IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED TITANIC!" and "OMG YOU ARE LEONARD-DICAPRIO-DEPRIVED".
And so now I've realised that I have been an absolute idiot for not watching this movie before. It is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Nothing can compare. Nothing.
But it also has me thinking, like all my favourite romantic movies always have me thinking...
Does love that strong, sincere, unconditional, limitless and true even exist in reality? I mean, I've yet to see it beyond the wonderful world of movies and novels, but it has to be somewhere right? Is it completely fictional, or is there atleast something close to it on this planet? And if there is, will we ever be fortunate enough to find it? Or will we die without ever experiencing it?
I would love to know your thoughts on this one.
Til' next time, hope you're all having a great start to the year :)

I so agree. I would truly like to believe it exist.
ReplyDeleteBut the issue here is that no one puts in the effort. :(
It exists!I'm sure it exists!
ReplyDeleteAlthough it's waaaaaay too difficult to find it.
But I guess it's worth trying!
Happy New Year!
Happy New year! Im glad that you had a lot of fun. I have the same problme, usually I just stand around akwardly but not this year! :)
ReplyDeleteI bleieve in love. I believe that there is someone out there for us
Love that is depicted in movies and novels - nope. Personally I think it's over rated and cheesy. It's more obsession than love to be honest and obsession in this case is not a very good thing.
ReplyDeleteLove between a husband and wife where they respect each others' feelings, yes.
I think romance movies and novels like to exaggerate the "love" situation a bit too much and make people think that that is love so when they go and look for a spouse, they have too much of a high expectation and this usually turns to disappointment - not that I've had experience or anything, haha.
The world has too many other obligations and problems to be solved for a person to devote their life to obsessing over one person.

I believe in real love... I haven't felt it but I believe that it exists... Well, many of my favourite bloggers have a relationship for many years and they are talking about their boyfriends with so much love... Even before that, I believed that you can feel real love, but now I am a little more sure... Hmmm, the problem is that I don't know if we will be lucky enough to find... However, it's too early now, we have to wait... ;)
