"Color my life with the chaos of trouble." -500 Days of Summer

Hello my lovelies, hope those of you who are living on the other side of the planet are enjoying the welcoming warmth of Summer, while I wallow here in the chilly embrace of Winter. With constant drizzle, and icy winds accompanying us throughout the last week, it's no wonder I'm not feeling so well. But before I divulge my problems, I'd like to start off this post on a happy note. Since Winter isn't the most colorful of seasons (the dullest, more like it), warm coats in bright, bold colors are the best way to stand out from the crowd. Against the grey atmosphere of the season, there's no better time to pull off daring shades of vermilion red, royal blue, forest green and mustard yellow.

Now to the topic of my life, coming to a new school and having to find a new group of friends for the very first time in my adolescent life, I've come to learn a few things the hard way.
Number one, never judge a group by your first impression of them. The small huddle of people you may see at the beginning of the year, may end up multiplying in size over the course of the next few weeks.
Number two, going from group to group at the start of the year to figure out which one you fit into isn't a bad idea. But continuing to do that even after then is a bad one. Sure you'll be welcome in all the big circles, but you won't really have a place in any which makes all the difference.
And number three, when you realize your mistake (refer to number two), and have finally decided on which group you want to stick with, it isn't an easy job getting into it.

I know I may sound a little superficial, but I could really use some good advice at the moment. Care to spare a few wise words? <3

  1. HEYY! It's me Rohila... I haven't commented on your blog for a while. Anyways ... I don't really know what's going on but it sounds like you feel left out right? You obviously would I mean, like you said so yourself, it's your first time having to look for a group of friends.

I actually thought that everything was good for you with the whole friends thing - kind of. I don't really know what advise to give since I don't really know what your problem is. lol My post is turning out to be pointless hahah sorry I just wanted to post something! I hope everything goes better for you... <3

  2. Lovely selection of coats, they kindof remind me of quality street sweets all together, tehe.
I totally agree with your advice, it's something I've learnt the hard way in the past... good luck settling in m'dear, as soon as you find a solid group of friends things should start gradually falling into place, don't forget to smile and just be yourself ;)

NEVER GIVE UP

The road that is built in hope is more pleasant to the traveler than the road built in despair, even though they both lead to the same destination.
