Color me maroon! Plus The Crookes :)

Good day everyone :) Or should I say terrible day, even though spring has sprung on this side of the planet the weather is miserable! It's been grey, gloomy and rainy all through the week, no wonder I'm still holding onto winter fashion through to October. Half of my holidays have gone by and I've done nothing worth mentioning, oh the sad, sad story of my life. Any who, let's move onto happier matters. This post is inspired from this look  by one of my most favorite fashion bloggers Andy over at StyleScrapbook. She's pretty big, but if you haven't heard of her (where have you been then!?) CHECK HER OUT :)

So if you can't already tell (I hope you can), I've been searching all things maroon! It's a lovely color, really deep, earthy and sensual. It's also been my Mum's favorite color since like forever. Whenever we go shopping, if she sees a hint of maroon on the racks- she will grab for it. And did I ever mention my favorite band of all time is Maroon 5? It's no coincidence children. Plus, I REALLY REALLY REALLY want a pair of maroon skinny legs! THEY LOOK SO AMAZING. I won't be writing much here so I'll leave you with some awesome tunes from The Crookes, a band I'm newly loving, and this really cool studded leather vest.
